IGNITE is a children's ministry that offers supervised care and activities for kids ages: birth through 5th grade. Every Sunday at 5:30pm, kids can experience how awesome God is in a fun environment that is just for them.

Do you count the amount of time your children spend doing different activities? The time kids our spend: practicing the piano, watching TV, playing video games, participating in sports, exercising, etc. total up to a ton of hours and minutes. But how much time do our kids really spend learning about God and getting to know Him? In many studies, church attendance has been found to be critical in a child’s development. Okay, forget the studies. Just ask parents. Adults who grew up going to church, and then maybe took a break in early adulthood seem to run to find a church as soon as they have children. Why? Because they know what we know: that God has something to say about how we live our lives. Parents know it’s their responsibility to teach this to their kids but they know they need some help too.

IGNITE stands for Instilling Good News Impacting the Earth

Every Sunday at 5:30pm, kids can experience how awesome God is in a fun environment that is just for them! It is a time of the week that we partner with parents to lead children to learn about timeless truths of the Bible in a fun and engaging way.

A nursery is available for children who are infants – age 2. If your child is 3 years old or older, he or she will be in one of our IGNITE Kid’s Club Classes. Our Kids Club Classes are not "babysitting" services, but they are a time when a qualified children’s ministry leader will engage your child with a Bible lesson and some fun activities that include: games, snacks, music, crafts, and drama. At Cornerstone, we put an emphasis on the needs of our children. They are the future, and God tells us that it is important to raise them up in the way that they should go – which is His way (Proverbs 22:6).

Want to Help? Many opportunities to serve in this ministry exist for those who love children and want to be a part of teaching our young people about the love of Jesus. Teachers, assistants, helpers with special projects, working one-on-one with special needs children are a few of the needs of this special and rewarding ministry.
